The invites

I know that it has been about two weeks since the last blog. It is not like we had a slow couple of weeks. Actually, things are starting to pick up again. I am now working on the invites. We are making our own invites so I am looking for the right paper. The invites aren't too fancy but they will be unique. ( I hope so anyway.)

I have been on many websites trying to find the right wording for the invites. Vin and i are not into anything too mushy, too poetic, or too religious ( which you can find many samples of all of those types). I want something short and sweet and not too formal. I think we found that.

My father is taking the ball on the invites. He is creating them and assemblying them. He is even addressing them. I am glad that he is taking an active role on the invites. I am glad that I don't have to worry about that.

Soon enough, we have to confirm the menu and the flowers and such. I am realizing that there is not enough weekends to do everything. I am hoping to take some vacation days but I am worried that I won't have enough time for the week of the wedding. I might have to play sick to make sure things get done. Shhh. Don't tell my boss.
